This year’s Inc. 5000 features 170 companies building in the food and beverage space, and these upstarts are quite the force in snacking and sipping. As a whole, this group of brands has grown annual revenue by a median rate of 164 percent over the past three years. During that same period, the list generated a total of $11 billion in revenue and supported more than 40,000 employees. To top it all off, 33 of those companies did it all within the first four years of launching.
